The Top 100 Songs of the 1980s, part 1

No introduction needed, we all know how awesome the 80s were. Especially the music, pop was brought to a new level, and underground rap and R&B started to make their way into the mainstream. So, picking only one hundred songs to represent this decade was the hardest challenge I've had yet. Since every song was a hit, ranking them was hard to do. But not impossible, and in part 1 of the 2 part countdown, I'll reveal songs 100-51. Let's go:
